For drying of the wet products Tray Dryer is used. These wet products may be from crude drugs, chemicals, powders or the granules etc.

Cabinet can be a simple form of Dryer as it is having a heater which is situated at the bottom and known as Loboratity oven.

These ovens have no control of the Heat transfer or humidity. Directed circulation form is the best type of tray Dryer. For drying process, the material is spread on the tiers of the trays. There are three types of tray dryer which are batch, semi-continuous and cross flow dryers.

A well insulated cabinet with strategically placed fans and heating coils is used to maintain the uniform temperature and air.
